If You’re On The Prowl Passed 10, Here’s Where To Chow:
You’re not in the city anymore. I’m sure most of us Steamboat residents have said this to ourselves a time or two as we struggled to find some sustenance beyond the seemingly universal closing time of 10 pm for most restaurants in town. But if you should find yourself out and about and looking for grub, let me save you some time with a list of restaurants and food stands still serving both during the week and on the weekend. Some even have late-night happy hours to save you money on both food and drink. And though pizza is definitely on the list, it’s not the only game in town.
Mahogany Ridge Brewery and Grill
Among the culinary leaders in Steamboat, Mahogany Ridge offers a late-night happy hour every night that will fit the bill nicely. It features half-priced appetizers such as fish tacos, shrimp and grits, meat and veggie skewers, pretzels, buffalo fingers and more. If you’re in the mood to wash your meal down with a cocktail or beer, you’ll enjoy $2 beers and half-priced well drinks.

If you’re closer to the mountain, why not stop in for some of Steamboat’s tastiest pizza cooked in a brick oven – at a substantial discount! Slopeside’s happy hour runs from 10 till around midnight every night, and all pizzas are just $7. They’ve recently expanded their tap list, and during happy hour, beers are just three bucks. This makes for a fulfilling end to a long day.
