Run alongside the roaring Elk River through the emerald green pastures on Country Road 129 with the snow-capped Rocky Mountains all around and find out why the Steamboat Marathon was ranked as one of the "Top 10 Destination Marathons in North America."

Mountain Magic Girls' Softball Camp and Tournament

The camp is three days of top instruction, from 24+ of the best college coaches in the Rocky Mountain region. Each day will include position specific instruction from the college coaches, along with controlled scrimmages, also coached by college coaches. Register as a team or as an individual. This is the most intimate college exposure opportunity for players in Colorado. Not only will you learn from the best; but you will have the opportunity to form a one on one relationship with the college coaches in attendance and get your foot in the door. The registration deadline is May 19th and we only have room for 120 campers and we sell out early each year. Register ASAP, so you don't miss out on this great opportunity to interact and form relationships with college coaches. School Includes: Practice & Games, Throwing, Hitting, Baserunning, Fielding, Pitching, Catching, 4-6 competitive games, and Individual Instruction.

2011 Steamboat Running Series 2011 Hayden Cog Run
When & Where: Saturday, June 11th, 2011. All runners assemble at the Hayden Town Park on S 3rd Street Races start at 10:00 am
This is one of the longest consecutively run races of the series and the state of Colorado! A Routt County Classic held in the small town of Hayden Colorado 25 minutes west of Steamboat.
Distances: 8.4 mile, 10K and 5K paved roads.
Registration: Pre-register online, at the Town Hall in Hayden, or Ski Haus in Steamboat Springs. On-site registration will be available between 9:00 and 9:30am on race day. Register early to ensure an entry gift and please remember that post race food is for runners and volunteers only.

The Mainstreet Market is entering its seventh year and has about 55 booths per week. The market is located on 6th Street at Lincoln Avenue in downtown Steamboat Springs on Saturday’s throughout the summer. The Market is the perfect first stop and launching place for a day browsing in our local stores, eating in our restaurants, or listening to the live music on the courthouse lawn during the market.
The Market includes fresh produce, meats, cheese, baked goods, canned and prepared foods, plants and other consumables. In addition, there is a limited number of handcrafted-by-the-vendor arts and crafts as well as several non-profit organizations participating.
The Market is held, rain or shine from 9am to 2 pm, every Saturday from June 12 to September 11, 2010. The Market is located on 6th Street at Lincoln Ave, next to the Routt County Courthouse in downtown Steamboat Springs.

Ride the Rockies When & Where: June 14, 2011- June 16, 2011 - see website for times and locations
The Denver Post Ride The Rockies is an annual bicycle tour that takes 2,000 cyclists on a week-long trek through Colorado's Rocky Mountains. In its 26th year, cyclists will be treated to 6 scenic mountain passes, 1 loop ride and 22,000 feet of vertical gain over the course of 6 days and 412 miles. Cyclists will begin their journey in the picturesque mountain town of Crested Butte and finish on the historic streets of Georgetown, Colorado.
Ride the Rockies arrives in Steamboat on June 14th after a 80 mile leg from Edwards to Steamboat. June 15th involves the scenic Steamboat Loop ride of 52miles. Then onto Granby on June 16th.

More than 500 Mustang owners from Rocky Mountain Mustang clubs will convene in Steamboat Springs over Father's Day Weekend. Activities will include a scenic mountain tour, auto cross, Friday night social, Show n' Shine Car Show and awards breakfast. Spectators are welcome at the Meadows parking lot located at the corner of Mt. Werner Road and Pine Grove Road for Friday's Autocross. Over 180 Ford Mustangs compete in this timed event. Saturday's Show n' Shine is a car lovers dream located in downtown Steamboat Springs.

Every Friday and Saturday night from June 18 to August 20 at 7:30 pm cheer on the cowboys at the Steamboat Springs Pro Rodeo, voted one of the best small-town outdoor rodeos in the country. There is fun for the entire family with the Ram and Calf Scramble. There will be special performances on Saturday, July 2nd, Sunday, July 3rd & Monday, July 4th with a fireworks display immediately following the rodeo on Monday.
Free Family Fun Fest When & Where: June 18, 2011 Mt Werner Mountain 10am-2pm On Saturday, June 18th join NRC Broadcasting and Steamboat Ski and Resort Corp. for the Free Family Fun Fest . The Family Fun Festival runs from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday. Bring the entire family up for a day of FREE activities including the mechanical bull, climbing wall, Bungee Trampoline, face painting and more. In addition, FREE gondola rides for children 12 and under and half price gondola rides for adults provide the ideal chance to see Steamboat from a whole new altitude. The Bicycle Tour of Colorado is a 7 day fully supported bicycle tour in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. We provide camping services, baggage transportation, route maps, road markings, aid stations every 15-30 miles, bicycle repair services, and medical support during your week in Colorado.
