Night Skiing Tips:

  • Bring some sort of bandana or neck warmer that you can pull up over the bottom of your face to protect it from wind burn and frost bite.

  • After the sun sets for the night, the temperature really drops! Make sure to wear or bring added layers to keep yourself warm and dry!

  • Use goggles that have lighter lenses (yellow, light red, ect). Mirrored goggles can make it more difficult to see at night.

  • With dropping temperatures, the slopes become more icy. Use caution and be aware of ice patches, rough spots, and ice chunks!

  • Keeping dry makes all the difference when skiing at night! Bring an extra pair of gloves or use hand warmers to keep your fingers toasty!

  • If you get too cold, take a warm up break with some hot chocolate. It’s important to know your limits!
