Located in the Mountain base area off of Mt Werner road, this beautiful town home is only a a few blocks from the base of the Steamboat Ski Resort, which is a short ride on the free city shuttle, a quick 2 minutes when driving by car, or a 7-10 minute walk up the hill!
The owners of this townhome want you to have an unforgettable experience and have personally furnished their vacation home to their high standards. Upon entering you will marvel at the attention to detail in everything from the distressed wide-plank wood flooring, to the hand-hewn log railings and warm hues from the custom designed rooms. After you remove your shoes in the slate entryway and hang your coat on the antique ski-coat rack, you enter the first of 2 living rooms where you will spend your evening relaxing on the fine leather furniture. The open floor plan on the 1st level allows you to move freely around the kitchen with granite counters and breakfast bar, dining area, half bathroom and spacious living room with plenty of windows framing the beautiful steamboat surroundings! You can also forget about scraping snow and ice by parking your vehicle in our heated garage where there is plenty of room to store your skis and snowboards in the winter or bikes and golf clubs in the summer.
For the cooks in your family, the kitchen is spectacularly well equipped: Cuisinart Professional stainless cookware; plentiful assortment of flatware, glasses, ceramic and plastic plates and cups, ceramic and travel coffee mugs; extensive collection of serving, cooking, and food prep utensils; forged block knife set with steak knives; mixing and serving bowls, food storage containers; glass, ceramic and metal bakeware; gas grill and grill tools including grilling basket; coffee maker, bean grinder and electric tea kettle, Ninja blender, electric hand mixer, and large crock pot. There’s even a “community cupboard” where the owners and renters share spices, condiments and baking supplies. Check out the pictures!
When your meal is complete, your group is free to sink into big leather chairs and couch in the living room to watch a movie or catch the big game on the huge 70 inch flat-screen TV with HD cable/DVR. You are also free to finish that favorite novel or plan the next day’s adventures in front of the gas fireplace, or walk over to the association’s two large outdoor hot tubs to soak your muscles while meeting fellow travelers. You can also send the kids upstairs to the second living room where they will be entertained with their own large flatscreen with HD cable and DVD player. If you do need to check up on work during your stay, there is high speed 150 mbps internet so people “think” you are still working hard.
After you decide to retire for the evening and rest your muscles from a day on the slopes or a hike in the mountains, the master bedroom with king bed includes all the comforts you need for a peaceful night’s sleep. The private bathroom includes his and her sinks with slab granite counters, stone tile floors, stand alone jetted tub and separate shower enclosed by stone tiles and a 6 ft solid glass door.
The remaining two upstairs bedrooms include a queen bed in guest bedroom #2 with private bathroom-tub-shower, and bedroom #3 with a bunk bed plus trundle bed (3 twin beds total) with access to a third bathroom across the hall with stone enclosed shower. The upstairs living room also has a sleeper sofa.
