Things to
do
After taking

view of the Yampa Valley below. During January, Steamboat hosts
the Annual Cowboy Downhill where cowboys trade in spurs for skis
to race to the bottom of the mountain. If you're planning a
vacation in February, be sure to take in the Annual Steamboat
Spring Winter Carnival during which the entire town is taken
over by racing, ski jumping, chariot racing, and the legendary
skiing high school band.
